Put simply, Dean Street's Investing Capital department provides private investors with bespoke introductions to investment opportunities in private companies.
We receive a number of investment opportunities and business plans every day and our objective is to match opportunities to specific investors, depending on their investment criteria and/or business interests. To achieve this we believe it's essential that we develop long-term relationships with our private investors, allowing us to provide opportunities that are most attractive to each individuals requirements.
Of course, before we make any introduction our business specialists review each business intricately to ensure it has the right credentials and growth prospects, therefore filtering the good from the bad!
Our core values are:
Capital Growth: You make the decision to invest for capital growth, with the aim of achieving a capital return in 3-6 years, as opposed to investing in a fund primarily for tax planning reasons.
Control: You control when and what to invest in, whilst also deciding how much ongoing control you wish to retain.
Experience: Our pool of specialist consultants affords a depth of experience in specific areas that allows us to filter opportunities accordingly, but ultimately you use your own experience to identify value from the opportunities we deliver.
After you have made an investment desision we will also look to arrange appropriate tax reliefs, such as Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) relief, wherever possible.
